It has come to our attention that across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and others) ads are running stating that Feeding America is selling Food Boxes.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A SCAM!
The Brazos Valley Food Bank (BVFB), local food pantries and Feeding America are NOT associated with any social media posts purporting to have discounted Feeding America food boxes available for purchase. Feeding America is reporting the fraudulent posts to social media platforms as they see them and strongly recommend that you do NOT ENGAGE with these posts.
If you have fallen victim to a fraudulent post, please contact your local authorities to report the activity or call the AARP Fraud Watch Network at 1-877-908-3360 to receive free guidance.
If you or someone you know is in need of food, we encourage you to visit your neighborhood food pantry.

Updates will be posted on the Your Texas Benefits website, Your Texas Benefits mobile app, and on the Texas Health and Human Services website. You can also call 2-1-1 to get the latest information.
