Pay Range: $15 - $16.50/hour
Job Summary
BVFB’s Communications & Development Assistant (CDA) is responsible for accuracy and upkeep of thousands of electronic and/or paper donors, monthly direct mail campaign, several story/photo and other department files. This position is solely responsible for drafting and sending all BVFB’s donation acknowledgement letters, according to BVFB policy and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requirements. In addition, the CDA is responsible for timely and accurate donor report generation and submission. The CDA aids the Communication & Development department in tracking third-party fundraisers, as well as scheduling check presentations. When needed, the CDA could be called upon to assist with grant proposal requirements and/or assistance in planning and/or execution of Special Fundraising Events. This position will work 12-16 hours/week on a set schedule within BVFB’s hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Friday. Reports to BVFB’s Communications and Development Director (CDC).
