Tiffany and her husband are go-getters. A few years ago, Tiffany was planning to attend graduate school, and her husband had a successful career. Unfortunately, Tiffany’s husband suddenly lost his job.
But thanks to partners like you, Tiffany has been able to pick up healthy food for her family at the Brazos Valley Food Bank (BVFB)’s Produce Distribution at First Baptist Church in College Station.
“This is definitely a relief. I can make a plan with what we get, and it provides peace of mind,” Tiffany shares.
While Tiffany’s husband has since found a new job, his income is less than what it was previously. Tiffany isn’t able to work outside the home right now because the cost of childcare is too high.
Visiting a BVFB Produce Distribution provides the family with healthy food, ensuring their four growing kids have the nourishment needed for growth and development.
“As an adult, you figure things out. You make sacrifices,” Tiffany explains, “but when you have kids, you have to get creative and ask for help. There’s no shame in that.”
