Benefits Assistance Program

Our Benefits Assistance Coordinator can come to Brazos Valley Food Bank partner agency sites and other community sites to help individuals and families fill out applications and renewals, as well as answer questions for SNAP and other assistance programs such as Medicaid, TANF, SNAP, SNAP-CAP, CHIP, CHIP-Perinatal, Medicare Savings Program, and the Healthy Texas Women Program. The Benefits Assistance Coordinator will even turn in applications for clients via fax. The goal of this assistance is to ensure that everyone who is eligible for these programs knows about it and is able to access benefits.
