Kelly Bond-White is in her 18th season with the Texas A&M women's basketball team, and has served as Associate Head Coach since the 2007-08 season. Her recruiting ties have been key for Texas A&M, and her contributions on the court have also developed the best guard corps in the league. Ensuring everyone who is eligible for assistance programs knows about it and is able to access benefits.
Our Benefits Assistance Coordinator goes to the Brazos Valley Food Bank partner agency sites and other community sites to help individuals and families fill out applications and renewals, as well as answer questions for SNAP and other assistance programs such as Medicaid, TANF, SNAP, SNAP-CAP, CHIP, CHIP-Perinatal, Medicare Savings Program, and the Healthy Texas Women Program.
In Fiscal Year 2019-2020, the Brazos Valley Food Bank Benefits Assistance team completed 260 applications.
The average SNAP benefit in Texas provides 1,209 meals over the course of a year to an applicant.
